This topic has 2 versions: the Brex classic experience and the Brex Empower platform. If you need help finding which you use, sign in or read this article.

Getting you easy access to the funds you need to grow your business is why Brex exists. We process payments as quickly and safely as possible, though processing times will vary depending on the sending institution and payment method.

Receiving payments

Incoming ACH: Based on what time of day the ACH transaction is submitted, it can take 3-5 business days for the payment to be processed.

Incoming international ACH: Depending on the country and sending institution, it can take up to 7-10 business days for the payment to arrive in your Brex business account.

Incoming domestic wire: Domestic wires are usually available within 1-2 business days.

Incoming international wire: International wires typically arrive in 3-5 business days. These payments will take longer than a domestic wire as there may be multiple banks involved in processing.

Check deposit: Processing times for check deposits vary depending on the size of the deposit. Checks typically clear within 3-5 business days. Brex doesn’t have the ability to expedite a check’s processing time, but you can view the status of your deposit from your dashboard under Cash > Transactions.

For all incoming ACH and wire transfers, please reach out to the sending institution if you experience any delays.

Sending payments

Outgoing ACH: Typically processed within 2-3 business days, depending on what time of day the ACH transaction is submitted.

Outgoing checks: Printed and mailed within 2 business days. From there, delivery times vary depending on the recipient’s location. Please allow up to 7-10 days for arrival. You can view your processing checks in the dashboard under Cash > Transactions > Processing transactions.

Outgoing domestic wires: Typically completed within 1-2 business days.

Outgoing international wires: Typically completed by Brex within 1-5 business days, but delivery completion varies by country. These payments will take longer than a domestic wire as there may be multiple banks involved in processing.
