We may occasionally lose connection to your bank account for a number of reasons, some of which include: Your online banking credentials have changed. You have been logged out of your bank account for security reasons. There are a limited number of devices that can be connected at a time.
Brex cards are the tools that you use to spend from your account, and can be issued to users of any role type except for bookkeepers. We offer two types of cards — physical cards and virtual cards — which you can issue following the respective section below.
In addition to the requirements listed on our website, we analyze a company’s business model, source of funds, spending patterns, and other areas that may pose a higher risk to Brex and our partners. Meeting the requirements below does not guarantee you will be approved for a Brex account.
As an account admin, card admin, or bookkeeper, you can download Brex business account or card statements from your Brex dashboard by following the steps below. Note: If you export your statement to CSV, it can be opened in Excel as a spreadsheet.
If you’re unable to connect your bank to your Brex account, we may instead ask you to manually submit statements. You can upload your most recent statements at any time from the Financial documents page in your Brex dashboard.
Account admins can update a user to any role type. Card admins can update other users to card admins, employees, and bookkeepers (if you don’t have a Brex business account). This is done by following the steps below.
There are 2 ways to activate your new physical Brex card. Via SMS Step 1: From the phone number associated with your Brex account, text the last 4 digits of your card number to (415) 417-0824.
Account admins, card admins, and the user who owns the card can dispute fraudulent transactions directly from the Brex dashboard. (While this isn't possible in the mobile app experience quite yet, we're working on bringing you this capability soon).
